I tried using a generic & had to return it because it leaked. If you get on the auto refill plan you get a discount on the filter & it ships to your house. Very convenient & you know it’s time to replace it.

The water tastes fine and it lasts for around 3 months. The only thing to note is that, like a lot if people have mentioned already, replacement can be tough sometimes due to the pressure created so you may have to shut off the water supply and wait for some time.
