    Does a good job. Our city water tastes “normal.” The only thing I’ve noticed is that it will not remove a lot of minerals, which is good in a way. We have hard water and when the ice melts on silicone, it will leave behind a calcium carbonate residue. So it’s hard to tell what other minerals or chemicals that are getting through. We end up spending $100/year (replace every 6 months usually), which I guess isn’t too bad.
