It was half the price of the Samsung so I gave it a try. It did not work. It fit just fine but no water would dispense. I took it back and bought the Samsung model which worked perfectly. I'm sure Samsung Incorporated something into the refrigerator that only lets the dispenser work with their filters. The good news is their filters works and lasts a reasonable amount of time.
