Does what it is meant to do. Other reviews mention a change from Samsung that might make your fridge model non compatible anymore even though the model number remains the same. Just remove the filter you are currently using and take it to the store for comparison if you cannot compare it online. I compared it online with the website pictures and it worked for me.

I heard rumors that other internet suppliers were selling counterfeit, so I headed to BB to get my original Samsung filter. It came with the genuine Authentication Tag so we are good. One detail is that at the beginning (first day) it leaked a few drops per hour but it seems to be normal.(be prepared for that) The water tastes definitely better than with the generic brands.

If you own a Samsung fridge that requires a water filter, all you have to do is get a compatible " Samsung Brand " water filter when it's time for replacement. Remember, model number is important. Ask a knowledgeable best buy associate, give him details of what you need. This product is as easy as 1-2-3 to replace and install. Read your instruction manual and follow steps. Even a caveman can do it. I recommend this product to Samsung fridge owners out there that needs water filter replacement. This is IT. Perfect Fit.

they had to replace the first frig I got and the two guys that came and did the exchange were great. they showed me how to work everything witch was very helpful. the first refrigerator was an LG and it didn't fit right and also had something wrong with it,. the second one was a Samsung and a much better refrigerator the guys names were Jason and Brant. they were very careful putting it in the house. I would ask for them again if I buy anything else big.

ive tried to go the cheap route and visit the local hardware store and by the off brand version of this filter. for the first time in years i could tell that my water at home was different than what i expected. i am now a continuous user of the Samsung water filter for my Samsung fridge. they just work and now i can say that i taste the difference.

The best and quality water filter I ever used! I did many renovation project and always buy Samsung appliances and refrigerators with this water filters. Just love it.

For at least five years we purchased the generic water filter. That changed after a faulty replacement caused the water line to back up and freeze. We had to dismantle the back of the fridge to defrost. We read that the Samsung factory water filter would solve the issue. So far, so good, and we are quite surprised that we have had not to replace the filter yet. The generic did not last nearly as long.

I love the look of this freezer. It is large enough to hold everything that I need and I do not have to dig to find what I am looking for. I will probably replace my refrigerator when the time come with another one of these and have it as a refrigerator with the door switched to make it look like one unit. I only wish they had an ice/water in the door option.

Rather dull item to review. Works as advertised. Fits perfectly with no leaks. Every six months you need to replace it. It goes from working straight to replace right about at that time. Limits flow at that point. Every 6 months the price seems to go up another $5-10 dollars for no reason. Same simple ingredients inside. No rare minerals. It’s a rip off, but needed.

Samsung water filter seems to last a long time. They last 6 to 9 months. I drink water constantly and I fill my Keurig with the filtered water when I make coffee and tea several times a day. We also use a lot of ice and the water tastes delicious. This saves us having to carry 2 1/2 gallon jugs of Zephyrhills water from the grocery side store We must’ve used at least four of those a week and my husband’s back is grateful not to have to carry those anymore. LOL

This was the first time I have ever bought a refrigerator filter. I had a 24 year old refrigerator and just replaced it this past January. I love my new refrigerator! It's beautiful and my young granddaughters drink lots more water with ice now. Installing this filter was easy. It fits between the two lower vegetable bins and pops right in. The employee at Best Buy was very helpful and made sure we got the right filter for our refrigerator. It was $50 however. Whew! That's expensive!

Filter is easy to install and use, compared to experience with previous models of refrigerator (not Samsung) in which the filter was located in the top back Right side, and required removal of all items on the top shelf in the refrigerator and some contortions to unscrew the old filter and screw in the new one. However, the smaller filter for the Samsung refrigerator doesn't last as long. And the price has increased significantly over the past two years.

Nice deal for bulk pack of original Samsung replacement H2O filters. Fairly easy to switch out and install.

I decided to go with Samsung branded filter replacement instead of third party. They might actually be the same as third party, but I decided not to pinch the pennies since I ingest the water that goes through the thing. It fit my fridge perfectly and matched the original that came with our refrigerator, so I am pleased with it.

I have always bought Samsung water filters. It works as describes and fits perfectly.
