Easy to both install and uninstall. Minimal to no water leakage when done quickly and properly. The Instructions require quite a bit of water to be run through the new filter initially which is wasteful and time consuming. But I give it 5 stars for its ease of installation and don’t have to turn off the water to the fridge.

I was originally planning on buying this product through an online retailer - it was half the price. After investigating further, I realized the product being sold online was a counterfeit (several misspelled words on the product packaging). Being that this item is intended for a specific purpose, I elected to purchase this item through a reputable retailer. As for the filter, it works perfectly.

i mean its a water filter for my fridge that arrived a year ago and never got properly received so its still sitting in an out for delivery status which is hilarious.

I want to buy the water filter that the manufacturer suggests to keep our refrigerator/freezer operating properly. The water filter provides the best tasting water and ice. I replace the filter every 6 months as suggested. A indicator light comes on to remind me to buy and replace it . It is very convenient.

This filter works as advertised; however, it is a bit pricey.

We change every 6 months. Set on auto order and forget it. Once it shows up just change it.

Legitimate Samsung filters, so there is no reason they should not be good. Installation is somewhat annoying, took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. I installed the new filter after shutting the water off and draining the water lines. With the water supply off and the lines drained the installing the new filter was easy. It just popped right in and locked in place. I turned the water supply back on and emptied out about 3 gallons of water as instructed. That part was very boring, I just kept filling and dumping jugs. I took off a star because I honestly think they cost excessively much. It is just a water filter!

I signed up for Auto Replenishment for my Samsung Frodge a few years ago. The filters work great and changing them out is very easy

I have 1 problem with this. It would have been nice to notify the customer that it was being ordered before you order it, seen Best Buy. Com in my bank account and knowing I did not order anything in line. I reported fraud. Until the package came then I knew it was not. A little heads up to your customers due to its only once a year.

This filter is the best filter I've had in a refrigerator for water filtering. I had the filtered water tested and the alkalinity was 8.7 which was great knowing I could have free alkaline water with this purchase. If you don't have a large family you can get through six months with out having to replace it. Don't waste money buying the generic filters. Stick with Samsung their best used with their products.

This water filter is just what I needed! My filter went bad and the water quality went bad for months I had no clue there were water filters. If your water tastes weird you probably need to change your refrigerators water filter. This filter will solve your weird water tasting problems.

Works great tried to save money by getting not name brand but was a big mistake water leakage from the filter area. Went back to purchasing Samsung and works great no more problems no more water leaks.

How much can be said about a refrigerator water filter except that it fits correctly, doesn't leak, and makes the water taste good? There are cheaper 3rd party filters but I'll stick with the Samsung brand. There could be contaminants like BPA, etc. in off-brands. It would be dumb to take the chance when I care enough about my health to filter the water. I have complete confidence in the Samsung brand to keep me safe.

This filter is exactly what I needed. It fits my model of refrigerator which I also purchased at Best Buy. I tried to go the cheap route and order from another online retailer and had to send them back because even though it showed to work for my model, it did not. I also reminded myself that Best Buy will price match if you find the same filter for less.

Finding the cartridge compatible for our refrigerator was easy and doing the in store pickup is always effective. What I would recommend, however, is checking the model filter you are replacing because when I got the item home and replaced the filter I found that (this was the first time we were replacing the filter in this newly purchased refrigerator) the filters were not the same; the original was Mineral not Fresh. No big deal but if you want them to be the same just make sure you check the old one first before ordering.

A bit expensive, but luckily you don't have to replace it often. Filters out all that funky moldy and metallic taste you get straight from the tap from the city water system, especially in the hot summer months here in Texas. Wouldn't go without it.
