Not easy to install

Had a hard time installing the filter. The instructions state that you should shut off the water but that's not an easy task to do when the water valve is behind the fridge. After about 20+ mins of trial and error of inserting the new filter (was difficult because water kept shooting out) I was finally able to get it locked in. I wish Samsung made it easier to replace the filter. Didn't have many options as this is how the refrigerator is designed and I wouldn't dare risk using an off-brand water filter.
