I had a heck of a time buying an after-market brand at first in order to save a few dollars but for some reason, it just wouldn't work properly. There were no issues with the installation but water would just not flow properly. When I replaced it with this Samsung original filter, it worked perfectly from the get go.

First-time I was required to replace my water filter (purchased the fridge in May 2016). Had a hard time installing the filter. The instructions state that you should shut off the water but that's not an easy task to do when the water valve is behind the fridge. After about 20+ mins of trial and error of inserting the new filter (was difficult because water kept shooting out) I was finally able to get it locked in. I wish Samsung made it easier to replace the filter. Didn't have many options as this is how the refrigerator is designed and I wouldn't dare risk using an off-brand water filter.

Bought these in a 2 pack for the price discount. Everything is as expected.

I am very pleased with this product as it offers very pure water for myself and my family. It was simple to install and gives me a sense of security when I get a glass of water.

It's been a while (for sure more than the recommended every 6 mo) since I replace the water filter on our samsung fridge.. I went to BB and realized there is more than one filter for "samsungS", but a helpful salesman said "there's only two for all Samsung fridges".. made it easy to choose and of course installation was simple.

Easy purchase for the correct refrigerator water filter. Love the auto re-fill/purchase program. Now I don't have to deal with going to the store and hunting down the filter when the refrigerator tells me it's time. The filter just shows up at my house every 6 months. Doesn't get much easier than that!

Very simple to install. Been buying the single filter since first replacement. Went with the twin pack to save a few dollars. But overall these filters work well for me. Water definitely tastes better than water from the tap.

This filter always works well and the quality of the filter is very consistent. The filter is super easy to change as well. The one thing that would be nice is to have Best Buy inventory the dual pack version of this filter. The dual package makes it much easier to manage.

Ordered online and picked up at the OV Marketplace store — everything was ready at the time we arrived and the employee handing us the filters was pleasant and efficient. Now, if only the store could/would accept printer cartridges/replaced printers, etc. for recycling, everything would be perfect.

If you have a Samsung refrigerator I recommend only using their filters. I tried using a generic & had to return it because it leaked. If you get on the auto refill plan you get a discount on the filter & it ships to your house. Very convenient & you know it’s time to replace it.

I've used this product since purchasing my refrigerator 5 years ago; it was OEM. It has to be replaced every few months because we drink so much water in my home. It does a great job of filtering water -- noticeable in the taste of the water itself, but also in the ice. Best Buy always has this product in stock, so I don't have to order online. I also buy an extra, so I have one in reserve.

I originally brought the off brand name from a local store thinking it would be an exact match. Well I woke up the next morning to a partially flooded kitchen because the filter I bought caused the fridge to leak out of where the filter is twisted in. I took it back and spent the few extra dollars for this product and it worked like a charm. Don't cut corners, buy the parts meant to fit your Samsung frdge!

Does it’s job but expensive. I usually try to buy a bundle pack so it could cut cost a little but still a lot to spend on water filters.
