This filter gives me clear, fresh-tasting water and ice cubes. Due to our hard water and sediment, this may last 4-6 months. Tried using a generic filter and that was good for about 3 mos. The only drawback is the subscription service for whatever reason is not consistent.

Talk about easy. Walked into the appliance area, spoke to the salesman about my needs. The salesman was able to show me the one that I needed, and check me out right there in the department. I was in and out in minutes. We use the this filter a lot. We have well water and the softener doesn't remove all of the iron and sulfer. This filter finishes the job fantastically.

This product works better that the generic products on the market. A previous filter was the generic brand. It did not allow for water flow and needed to be replaced quicker ( less than a month). With this product, an immediate difference was noted ... Faster fill rate. The cartridge has lasted over a month and still does not need replacing (according to the electronic fridge computer).

What can I say about a water filter except that it works well. Some people think a water filter isn't necessary to use the in door water feature of their fridge, but it is, in order to keep contaminants from building up in the water line. Also, if you live in a climate where in the hot months the city water tastes moldy or metallic, this fridge filter solves that problem.

First experience with our new Samsung refrigerator and replacement was very easy. A little pricey but you don't have much choice. Not sure the replace warning on the refrigerator was because the filter was dirty or if there is an electronic timer to warn at 6 months. I don't think we used enough water and ice to warrant replacement this soon. That would be your call but I'm sure keeping Samsung replacement parts will help if you need warranty service.

Best filters I've used yet! And I've used a many. This particular one doesn't leave a lot of charcoal residue in the system after you've flushed it thoroughly. Great filter!

I looked for this item at several different places before finding it at Best Buy. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store and directed to a specialist. He showed me what filter I needed and demonstrated how to apply it on another Samsung refrigerator. I was impressed with the customer service that I received.

I attempted to by this filter online from a competitor and that was the wrong size. There was no size reference. However, when I really needed to get the purchase correct, came into Best Buy and they helped get the OEM filter.

I always buy this same water filter for my refrigerator. They work great and are always easy to find at Best Buy. I appreciate being able to buy my refrigerator water filters at the same place that I purchased the appliance. I can't say that about my previous refrigerator that I bought at a different store. Best Buy is the Best.

I’m very sorry I bought the filter from Home Depot recently. Their brand lasted approx one month before it slowed the water flow. I was ready to give up and call for service but when I looked on line I saw the brand worked best. I put this filter in and I has worked like new since. Can’t thank you enough

I appreciate that I was able to just walk into my local Best Buy store and get the needed water filter for my Samsung refrigerator. It can also be ordered online however when your water filter indicator light illuminates it is nice to know that you are not required to wait on shipping to have a fresh glass of water. I compare the taste of the water produced by this filter to Volvic Spring Water.

Super easy filter to replace, simply pull out the old and slide the new one in. Run a few water & ice cycles to get the water moving through and to remove the extra carbon. This filter lasts us a good 6 months, occasionally longer depending on usage. Well worth the investment.

I like the OEM Samsung filter the best. I have had other off brand filters and they did not work as well. Some of them even leaked water out the bottom where the filter attaches to the fridge. Gettting the Samasung brand is worth the price here.

Pure. A simple word that feels as if it has been lost to time. What is pure? It’s hard to tell these days but this filter? This is the true essence of pure crammed into a tiny filter which you later cram into your refrigerator. Now all my refrigerator dispenses is purity. And ice.
