    I haven't noticed any strange particles or tastes in my water or ice, so it's doing it's job well. Seeing as it's pricey for the replacements, I'm hoping to get an ample amount of usage from the two that came with the purchase of the fridge.

    Amazon has filters for about 1/3 the cost of this one. But if you go by Samsung's manual, if you go with any other filter, it could void the warranty. Maybe when the warranty runs out I'll use generic. Nothing wrong with the filter itself, though. Lasts around 6 months.

    It does it's job. Easy to install and water flows more freely after installing. I know there are cheaper versions of this out there, but I'm not sure of their quality.

    These filters always fit correctly and don't leak. If your ice maker quits working, get one of these new filters and it may fix it! It did with mine!

    It was hard for me to remove the old filter and replace the new one. Filters seem to be a little expensive, but they do last about six months.

    This is a pretty good filter. It is a little pricey, though. It lasts for 6 months. So you are required to use 2 per year. When you change the filter out, it does leak water for several days after you dispense water.
