The only reason for 4 of 5 stars is simply because it was slightly difficult to install for me, but after a couple tries I was able to get it installed correctly.

We don't use the water option much even with the filter. We have a soft water system and a separate system for drinking under the sink. This does keep our ice from tasting weird.
