Don't have much choice; it's the filter for our refrigerator and if you don't replace it it apparently affects some functions of the appliance so we replace as needed. We don't have any way of knowing if everything would work as well without replacing the filter but don't think it's worth the chance; however, feel it is a little pricey for something they say you HAVE to replace.

These are not necessarily a fun item to purchase, but definitely worth it. We bought off brand filters the last time, and they certainly didn't last as long. So, we really did not save money in the long run...I don't think we'll be repeating that mistake.

This is the original water filter for my samsung fridge. It was easy to install, took about 2 minutes. We have to replace it every 6 months so we will be buying it again!

It’s the brand name filter for my Samsung Refrigerator that I also purchased at the same Best Buy. The original one had lasted for 6 months with heavy use so I’m expecting the new one to also last as long.

These filters allow us to use water run through the refrigerator and cut down our use of single small bottled water. Our ultimate goal is to very rarely/never buy these bottles and we are working our way to that end.

I highly recommend purchasing the manufacture of your refrigerators water filter and not an off brand. In sure that the refrigerators were tested with the Samsung water filter and if any changes needed to be made were addressed prior to production.

Clean fresh sparkling clear and delicious! There's just no other way to describe the water which passes through this completely amazing invention. A water filter and so much more; a beacon on the path to good living.

No issues with this filter, it does its job and the water taste fine. You have to run 2 gallons of water through the filter before you can start drinking the water once you install it. Easy install too.

A friend of ours went with the generic Samsung filter and were in for a suprise, water sprayed everywhere so we decided to go with the real deal and have had no problems. Seems this one is lasting longer than the one the fridge came with.

These filters work way better than the knockoffs and are much easier to install too. Haven't seen the twin packs in a while so that was an added bonus
