The water tastes great and we have a good feeling knowing that any possible contaminants have not made it through the filter. It also saves money not to have to buy bottled water.

I tried less expensive (non Samsung brand) filters for my fridge and was not pleased. Water should not have an after taste and if you use this filter, you will not have that issue. I just wish these thing didn't cost $50!

It was a bit of a challenge to get out, but not because of the filter but how Samsung does not make it easy to get the filter out. Had to use pliers

I don't know what they propose but that seems a little short on time. Perhaps it was because it was the first replacement. I'll see how long it takes for the second replacement.

This name brand one designed by the company that made the refrigerator is a vast improvement. Bottles fill in half the time now.
