Our Samsung needs these or the water pressure goes very low and the ice maker quits. They do the trick, we guess. Gives us water pressure again. Our water doesn't taste bad without them. I think they are a little expensive, but what isn't...?

Ive tried other water filter brands on my samsung fridge and they fit, but they leaked water all over the place. Something just wasnt quite right with them. This factory one fits perfectly and doesnt leak.

Our fridge is new this year so it is sad that Samsung has not updated its manuals. They instructed us to shut off the external water supply before removing the old filter. NOT NECESSARY!! Just pull the old one out and put the new one in. Too bad I had to have a conversation with my local repair center to learn that Samsung now has a shutoff valve/sensor

Whatever you do...don't bother purchasing these from amazon. Thank you, Best Buy for mailing the filter to me so I didn't have to bother going to our local Lowes during this pandemic.

This Samsung water filter seems to fit and work great in my Samsung refrigerator. I installed it about six weeks ago. It was easy to install, but did need a half-turn rather than a quarter-turn to lock it in.

Have bought these many times. I decided to try to save money , bought an off brand , it fit but wasn't as snug fitting as these are and ended up with water leaking all over my floor. Won't make that mistake again. This is the best.

Went to the store to purchase the refrigerator filter;however, when the salesmen went to match the price that I saw online, he found a better with more savings. One of the reasons why I keep going back to Best Buy.

From personal experience I have learned that NOT buying the manufacturers specific filter is a waste of money. Now I buy only the filters made for my product. It is a very good filter and I have not had any issues with them.

I've tried a couple brands of generics to save money on the filters, but they usually have a odd flavor in the water. Also, they are a bit noisy when dispensing water. You can price match with online stores to save some money in-store, so just do that.

This product is great, and very easy to install. You just have to remember to run a gallon of water or so to remove all the air bubbles. My wife is very picky about her water and she likes the filtered water that comes from this!

No issues replacing the old filter and this one even comes with a reminder on which month you replaced it. That way you know when to replace it if your refrigerator doesn't remind you.
