Best to use factory replacement filters although they are more expensive. Remember to shut off the water line to the fridge before installing to reduce the pressure buildup and to reduce the dripping after initial installation

Good quality and seems to work well, always buy from Best Buy to ensure it is legit. The package also comes with a counterfeit detector magnet so that was good.

We get our water from a deep well. This water filter is a necessity as it works incredibly well in filtering out the impurities for our ice maker of our Samsung. When we change it out, it's amazing what the top of the old filter looks like.

I got this filter for my fridge. Works good change every six months with no problems

This item is for most Samsung refrigerators and need replacing every six months. I always have an extra unit due to the shortage of filters in 2015, there was a six weeks waiting period and of course they are imported to America.

When changing, follow directions. To expedite, set new one firmly in place without turning, turn on water and prefilled filter. Then turn off water screw in filter and you have little to no air to purge from system. Filter is great

Make sure you dont open this till you get the old one out due to this doesnt not fit in a short square space ...

Samsung changed the gasket and doesn't tell you this. I never had to turn my water off before to install a new filter. Well this time I ended up with water all over the inside of the fridge. I started over and turned off the water and the filter went on properly. The filter really makes my water taste good. Just wish I was told it was different.

This is a good way to improve the taste of local water.

Simple install, fits the fridge, doesn’t cause issues. You can buy cheaper nock offs but fridge will have issues with water. This item is good to go for Samsung fridges. Pricey but needed.
