Local Pacific store did not have item in stock. They put it on order, and we got it by mail three days later. Would have been convenient if it were available in store; but the Pacific Sales staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It worked out. We bought a replacement and a reserve.

It works as intended. However, the refrigerator has a sensor that detects whether the filter needs to be changed, and the "red" warning is still on even after I installed it. I guess the warning has nothing to do with whether the filter is new or not.

This is a replacement filter for refrigerators. Couldn't tell if new refrigerators came with the filter--they do, so you may want to order one so you have one on hand to replace the original.

This filter lasts at least 6 months, maybe longer. Definitely recommend it if you use a lot of ice and/or filtered water from your Samsung refrigerator/freezer.

It works as its supposed to. It does a pretty decent job. No complaints other than it's too expensive.

I purchased this water filter when the one in my refrigerator needed to be changed. I of course went to my local Best Buy who always seems to have what I need.

This fits my Samsung RF28HFEDB perfectly. I like how it has double O rings on the filter. I previously purchased a generic filter online and it leaked due to just one O ring.
