Just make sure that you flush the filter thoroughly before drinking the water. The filter leave no bad taste and lasts a long time considering how much we use it. Approximately 6 months.

The first one lasted about 6 months for a family of 3. The salesman said it should last around a year when he was selling us the fridge. You will probably be replacing this every 3-4 months if you have a bigger family or use a lot of water.

My water tastes amazing and I only have to change every 4 months and I am heavy water drinker. So I was surprise

They are cheaper on Amazon but last time I ordered one there Amazon sent me the wrong one. Or maybe my wife ordered the wrong one. Whatever buy it at your local Best Buy, don't risk a fight with your wife.

The refrigerator's water filter light will let you know when those six months are up and should be reset after changing the filter. Easy to install filter

We love having the filtered water in the fridge as our old fridge didn't have a filter. The filter cost is a bit pricy but it's worth it to us.
