I regretted buying it too. That is why I came back to buy actual Samsung water filter. You can taste a difference between the two different filters.

Love the convenience

Now, we get one every six months, and it's one less thing I have to worry about. Warning though--I need pliers to get the old one out. It's a tight fit.
