You don't have much of a choice when it comes to using certified filter replacements for your refrigerator, so this works great. Easy install.

No problem installing it. But, can't get my red filter replacement time light to turn off. Maybe a few more gallons must pass though it first.

I have tried generic filters that cost less, but they do not last as long and the quality is not always there, and I don't want to worry about a counterfeit product when buying elsewhere for a price that is too good to be true...

The filter effectively removes the chlorine taste and smell from the water. It is good to know it is also removing other contaminants.

Not much choice if you need to replace your Samsung filter. Tried off brand generic filters that state they fit our model and cost less but have found none that fit. Samsung filter replacement is based on time rather than usage, so Samsung is playing the customer here in order to keep selling these filters. Doubt you really need to replace the filter every 6 months. Had GE refrigerator previously and their filters lasted one year

I have been using this filter type for several years and find the taste of wTer to be as leadt as good as bottled.

The filter is good, however it is pretty hard to install. Yet also the filter should be replaced every three months in order to get clean water and ice.

Water taste good, can't complain. I will be doing some water tests this year to check how well this filter really works.

It's a great product I had issues with trying to get the red symbol off of the front of my refrigerator but after day it did come off.

If you get a red light on display reminding of time to change filter, 'reset' by pressing and holding the 'Alarm Reset' icon. The Samsung filters are grossly overpriced. Buy the generic version for half the price (when in stock).
