I don’t usually try generic brands but before this purchase i had a filter from a certain well known hardware depot..and the filter absolutely sucked!! My water tasted awful! I went back to best buy and purchased the official Samsung filter and my water was drinkable again. No more going cheap for me.

BestBuy delivered this fridge filter quickly and it was more affordable than other places I looked. Super easy to install, reset to turn off the red light, and forget about it for a couple of months!

Have not been disappointed yet (other than the expense). Enrolled in auto replenish and they arrive right on time.

Easy to install and what is needed if you want clean fresh water coming out of your Samsung refrigerator. I always get Samsung original filters because they are tested and certified against ANSI/NSF Standards 42 and 53. Samsung refrigerator water filters use only a high-grade carbon block which removes over 99.999 percent of the potentially harmful contaminants that may be present in your water. And this “99.999%” figure is not a hoax.

These filters are the perfect fit, not a cheap knock off. They do a great job of filtering, and you can rest easy knowing they are high quality.

I'm purchasing this filter on a recurring 6 month time schedule so it always arrives just when it needs to be replaced without having to reorder it.

If you have one of the Samsung refrigerators you don't really have much of a choice. These work as advertised.

Been using this filter religiously since purchasing this refrigerator nearly 5 years ago. Never had any issues. Very easy to replace. While aftermarket filters are available, I have hard water, and prefer to stick with the name brand.

The filter is just fine. I've had many of them over five years of the refrigerator from Samsung. After about two years with a Samsung refrigerator, it started to leak. The ice maker broke next because it's made of PLASTIC (freezing and plastic don't last). Then it started to leak into the freezer. Doh! I contacted fix it people and the vendor. Basically I have to buy a new refrigerator as Samsung's are known to fall apart after 2 years. The fix it mechanics said the refrigerator wasn't even worth fixing after 2 year. Buyer beware - If you buy a Samsung refrigerator. Know you will be replacing it after 2 years or be like me cleaning up water and plastic peaces all the time. Friggin Samsung.

We replace our waterfilter twice a year on our Samsung refrigerator. The hassle of having to find the waterfilter was eliminated after we put our Samsung waterfilter on auto-order. Now, we receive it every 6 months and do not have to think about when it was ordered last. Samsung has made the replacement process very easy and I would suggest this product plus auto-order to make it even easier. Thank you Best Buy for making our life simpler.
