This is a good filter especially given the quality of water we get in our home now days. It says 6 months although the refrigerator indicator usually comes on after 4 months to replace this one.

This is the 4th of these filters we've bought. One of the 4 was essentially clogged out of the package. Also, these filters are necessary to use the ice and water spigots on Samsung refrigerator, and seem to be overly expensive. It wasn't a consideration in purchasing the refrigerator it fits into, but affects the long-term cost of operation. Wish I could recommend an alternative, but I don't know of one.

Works as advertised. Fit in perfectly, no leakage. Delivered quickly. Would recommend its use.

The current filter was just over a year old and we were starting to taste a little funk in the water so I visited my local Best Buy store where I bought my appliances from and purchased the new filter. As expected the taste cleared up and we're back in business again.

Read reviews about 3rd party products bursting. Wanted peace of mind and ended up getting the actual manufactures filter. Enrolled in the subscription to get one every 6 months, shipping is free also. Price is good and peace of mind is priceless.

Iem we needed was in stock so we did not have to order on-line or wait for item to be stocked at store.

Initially I planned to purchase the cheaper Insigna filter ($49.99 for pack of 2). However, the taste wasn't quite right for my family, so I returned and got this one instead. No complain from anyone so far, so I am happy with this purchase.

These are not necessarily a fun item to purchase, but definitely worth it. We bought off brand filters the last time, and they certainly didn't last as long. So, we really did not save money in the long run...I don't think we'll be repeating that mistake.
