Hooked it up but my water smells coming from the filter. So we drink from the tap.

frig filter

Over the phone order, the store person specified this expensive filter for our specific frig., however the frig needed an external fitting for the filter to go into? The frig it's self has none? We were not told about this until after the delivery. It was easy to get a refund but there is no filter on our ice maker to date.

I think I bought a used one or one that was returned. After draining the water after installing , my refrigerator new filter light didn’t turn off. So I ordered another one from a different store and it worked fine.

Installed and spent a loooong time standing at the fridge trying to run the recommended amount of water through it. After 2 days, water started tasting like dirt. Took filter out to see if something was wrong, and apparently, it can not be re-installed. So $50 for pretty much nothing.

Maybe I was unlucky but this filter had a very tiny leak that I did not notice when installing it, but the next morning I found a mess of water in the lower part of the refrigerator.

Waste of Money

This product did not work. Water could not flow out. It was useless to me and as I have already used it, I could not return it to the store I purchased it.
This was like throwing $53.61 in the trash. worst money ever spent.

The day after I installed the new water filtering my Samsung refrigerator, the water dispenser in the refrigerator stopped working. The ice maker stopped the next day. This is the first time I have ever had a problem after inserting a water filter

This filter was expensive but would have been worth it if it had worked. Literally, as soon as we put it in the red filter light went on. The original filter lasted a month or so (which still isn't very long) but the new one isn't working at all.

If you heated he water out from the refrigerator filtered by the filter to boiled water and pour the boiled water into a glass cup. You will find many obstacles in the water although if you don't boil the water you can't see those obstacles.
