I found after market to be equally as good for much less money. In my opinion, if your Samsung appliance is no longer under warranty. Don't spend twice as much as you need to. Get the aftermarket filter online.

It would be nice if the box listed a more comprehensive list of the compatible Samsung fridge models (mine was not listed...but I did some web searches to find what filter was compatible with my fridge).

Only issue is that the Replace Filter light (on the Refrigerator) came back on after about a week, so I will just need to remember when I changed it to know when the filter needs to be replaced again.
