There were no issues with the installation but water would just not flow properly. When I replaced it with this Samsung original filter, it worked perfectly from the get go.

It has to be replaced every few months because we drink so much water in my home. It does a great job of filtering water -- noticeable in the taste of the water itself, but also in the ice. Best Buy always has this product in stock, so I don't have to order online. I also buy an extra, so I have one in reserve.

I went to BB and realized there is more than one filter for "samsungS", but a helpful salesman said "there's only two for all Samsung fridges".. made it easy to choose and of course installation was simple.
