I've tried to save some money in the past by purchasing third party substitutes but they don't measure up to the real deal. More money but more piece of mind, too.

I suppose it is as good as any other one that fits. Probably paid extra for Samsung name. Some advice: Turn off water supply before replacing this. If you read the instructions it clearly tells you to do this....I did not.

This is the Samsung filter that is to be used in their fridges. I was a little nervous about buying off brand. If you can get this while it is on sale, it is best. We all need a filter and this works great.

I have this on subscription and no longer have to think about buying my water filters. Water tastes good so we no longer have to purchase bottled water.

These are more expensive but make the water taste better than the off-brand filters I was getting.

This is the ONLY water filter for use in our French door refrigerator. Other comparable filters we have used were flawed and caused MAJOR leaks. We will never use another brand.

Always a good idea to have on hand a spare water filter for your water/ice dispenser that is part of your refrigerator. Nothing like a cold glass of filtered / purified water at your fingertips.

This water filter seems to work really well with our refrigerator so Best Buy is the only place we purchase this filter.

It's a filter for a refrigerator. What can I say. It works well, is in a somewhat difficult position to insert, but it works.

We only recently purchased a new refrigerator which requires a water filter, this was new for us. This was the water filter the store sales person advised we needed. It seems to work great :)

Refrigerator has a filter icon that lights up when filter needs changing. Filter very easy to install. In my opinion, $50 for this filter is expensive. There were no other options available

This filter works as expected. My only complaint is the price. I previously bought another brand filter and it appeared to work fine, but Samsung says they will not be responsible for any property damage caused by using another brand that might leak. Don't know if this is a sales gimmick but not taking the chance.

Water has a great taste with this filter. Pricey but I prefer to buy this genuine filter from an authorized seller like Best Buy.

I have searched high and low for quality water filters that work in my Samsung refrigerator and this one works! It is better than the knock off brands and filters purchased online at sites like Amazon.
