Many older films do well in a 4K transfer - this is one of them. You can debate about the plot or acting, but the money spent is up on the screen in High Def glory!

Oldie now on 4K and a classic movie. It comes with a nice slip cover blu ray 4K and digital code. Stop at your local BB and pick this one up.

Must be at least 50 characters, so this movie is underrated and for those who do t know this 4K movie is in full screen which is rare. Go buy it

Kevin Costner is one of the best actors known to man. Is the aquaman we deserve for a post apocalyptic world Weathers no land in the world is full of water.

great movie - I like sci fi. so to me this was a most to have in my list at the price. but it is a long movie so have the popcorn ready.

You either liked this movie or did not. I enjoyed it. 4K transfer was well done. Disappointed the extended cut is Blu-ray only. That’s sooooooo 2005! Ha!

Haven’t watched this in years. It’s aged well; I remember it as being kind of cheesy but after a rewatch i thought it was a decent, if not totally unbelievable, tale.

This is basically the same story line as Mad Max but with a different twist. It was made about 15 years too early due to lacking technology. Still a fun movie - looks great on blu ray.

One great movie. I am glad I saw it since I am a major collector and happy to add to my collection with great sound and picture.

I actually bought the movie because I have it on HD-DVD in my movie collection and the disc won't play anymore. The movie came out back in 1995 and was famous for going way over budget, from $100 million to approximately $175 million, making it the most expensive movie made at that time. The polar ice caps melt in the future and cover the Earth in water. The Mariner (Kevin Costner) is a loner who comes across an atoll and rescues a couple who tell him they know the way to Dry Land, which the Mariner believes is a myth. The best part of the movie is the Mariner's boat, which says a lot about the movie. Not exactly a classic.

This movie is an absolute classic. Awesome premise, good acting...a little cheesy at times but that's part of what makes it awesome

great release from arrow video. Comes with two cuts of the film and a new retrospective documentary. Well worth checking out

Universal knock it out of the park. Though no arrow transfer, the 4K looks much better than the previously released 1080p. Audio for this action movie is great.

if you like this film buy it. i honestly just want my points. its stupid that you have to leave a review just to get them.

With all of the bad reviews of this movie, I still love it. Great cast and a decent story and so much better in 4K.

Alright this is not the greatest movie of all time but non the less I'm drawn to witch this again and again. I don't know why but it is a fun movie if not taken to serisously and enjoyed for what it is.
