    Runs hot. Even with upgraded firmware, upgraded drivers the drive constantly freezes the computer. Either I specifically have bad luck with WD drives - 3 failures (500GB, 1TB and now this 2TB) or WD just does not make good products. Get a Samsung. I replaced all of those failed drives with Samsung, same sizes and they work fine. This drive is bad. That's why it is always on sale, and now with BB short return window, I am stuck dealing with WD about this dead drive that won't even boot into windows anymore.

    It worked for what I needed it (ps5). Only negative I have found is I now hear the fan to my ps5 when it’s on. Might need to invest in a cooling tower but it works.
