    Legion Go upgrade to 2 TB storage

    Used to upgrade the storage of a Legion Go handheld console. An adapter is necessary to change the length for secure installation. Have no fear, that’s easy to add. Doubled the storage from 1TB to 2TB and games load fast and reliably.

    I got this for my Rog Ally and this was a great upgrade to the ssd. Sure you could get an adapter kit as well if you wanted to use the more stick looking ssd but I wanted to stick with the stock recommended type to avoid any issues along with the slightly extra weight and heat from those kits.

    I only ever had one problem and that was that some models of WD SSDs have a driver issue with new Windows updates and this was one of them. I did the research and learned to download the SanDisk Dashboard to be able to get the newest driver. Once I knew what to do it took all of about a minute to download and install and fix my problem. Another one of those minor inconveniences but overall a great product.

    A few Googled instructions and this was working with my Steam Deck via an external enclosure at excellent speeds. Once I have time and it's been stress tested, I'll clone my Steam Deck's internal to this and install it directly into my Deck and use the original one for extra space.

    Worked as intended in my steam deck. Word of caution if you dont let it stay on for a while after reimaging the image may corrupt and you have to reimage, but that aint the ssd and its fixable just reimage again

    Its a hard drive thats small and has a lot of space. I could imagine many ways to use these chips for other purposes than what they were made for. For example taping one to your tooth brush and pretending it has part in why your teeth feel cleaner.

    I can now fit more of my steam library on the Deck. I am happy with how the upgrade went. This little drive is zippy! I would recommend this drive for any Deck, Ally, or Legion Go users. You will love having breathing room for your games.

    I purchased this to upgrade my Limited Edition OLED Steam Deck. I cloned my OG Steam Deck, and got it installed. The Steam Deck is running great with it. At the time of this review, this is THE fastest 2TB NVME on the market!

    I installed this in my ROG Ally and it took me less than 5 minutes to install. Ran the setup to restore my Ally and the SSD popped right up. Easiest SSD installation I’ve ever performed. Price is definitely worth it.
