Not the same model as sold elsewhere

That causes two problems. 1) Best Buy will not price match other retailers since the model number differs. 2) We can't really know if benchmarks and reviews of the common SKU apply to this BB-specific model.

The box is smashed, and when I opened it, the plastic protecting the SSD was damaged as well. I will update the review to 3 stars if it is functional once it has been installed.

Had never been disappointed with Bestbuy but...

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only a one star because eventhough it's a great product, I bought the 1 TB version and when I installed it, it ended up being a 500 gig, the bestbuy I purchased it from refused to trade it out and said WD had to be the ones to replace it. A month later nothing has happened to rectify it.

Sleepy SSD!

SSD did not work with my system and would disappear if computer would go to sleep. Swapped it with a SK hynix P31 and no issues since.

Perfect PS5 Storage Expansion

MAKE SURE you purchase a 3rd party low profile M.2 heatsink from Amazon. This SSD Will overheat without it. Sony even emphasizes on the need for a heatsink. Once you install the right size heat sink, this SSD fits perfectly!
