Great price from Beat Buy. Easy installation while I was cleaning my PS5 fan and just clipped it into the available slot and tightened a screw to hold it in place. Would highly recommend.

This was a great addon to my system. And the installation was easy with the right tools.

I was surprised how easy it was to install and add some space for additional games. My PS5 hasn’t skipped a beat and runs better than before with this chip.

I was a little worried going into opening our ps5, but realized that pulling off the covers didn't require unscrewing anything (it's slide off covers). However the compartment for the ssd has a cover and requires being screwed in. This part has nothing to do with the SSD (as the WD_Black has been working great so far), but the tiny screw that needs to be unscrewed on the ps5 prior to inserting the SSD was screwed in super hard. I couldn't even use a screwdriver, I had to use the tiniest/skinniest pliers that I could find as the screw was starting to get stripped.

It is very good and works for PS5… but if you can invest in more capacity it would be more recommended but the product is very good

Was easy to install and setup. Definitely a game changer compared to the ps4 setup for extended storage. A little pricey, but hopefully larger sizes will become the norm and will be more affordable in the future.

I’ve had this in my system for over a year now and it’s been perfect. Very easy to switch between console memory or this.

As long as you update your PS5 to the latest version, this is literally as simple as popping the side off the console, taking off the cover over the M.2 slot, and plugging this bad boy in (a lot of videos out there to see examples). Power on and and format the drive, and you're in business. Honestly, kudos to Sony for having the moxie to actually (in a sense) promote people getting into their consoles to upgrade them, and with third party parts that you can price shop around for and actually use for a PC too if you ever decided to take it out of the PS5 (looking at you Microsoft/Seagate).

This SSD is very fast and super easy to install. I caught this on sale and could not be happier. With games getting larger and larger, you have to have more storage.

This is a great drive to add to your PS5. It is nice to be able to have more than 850 GB for games on the PS5. I use this drive mostly to store PS4 games.

It slices, it dices it...stores 1TB of data. But darn it, it stores that data very well.

As the title says, I installed this ssd in my ps5. When I first formatted it, the read speed was 6583/MBps. Most games load instantly on this drive, but some still have the same loading times. Horizon Forbidden West literally loads the second I press to start it. Installation was very easy. You just have to slide one of the covers off of the ps5, then unscrew the plate that covers the empty m.2 slot. Install it, put the covers back on and you’re good to go! I would recommend using a #0 philips screwdriver. If you’re looking for extra storage, this is definitely a great option. I will probably get a second one for my laptop :)

You just need a small #1 phillips or crosshead screwdriver to install. Pop the panel off, screw it in, and thats it. It loads game even faster than normal too. Highly recommend.

I bought two of these. Through one in my computer and the other into my PS5. It’s so fast despite playing large games or just working on Adobe products!

Best hard drive for the PS5 and they are partnered in with Sony/promoted by them and it super easy to install and port everything from your external hard drive and cloud

Very useful if you want to put more games on your PS5. Since heatsink is needed, this is one of the few options out there based on affordability and performance.

PS5 upgrade at its best cant complain at all super fast
