Got this for added storage to my PS5. Easy to install and super fast. If you need more storage in your PS5, this is the way to go.

Installing this on my PS5 was a huge quality of life improvement. I can now keep twice as much downloaded at a time and don’t find myself constantly deleting games or videos to install something new. The hardest part of the whole process was removing the stubborn faceplate. There are plenty of videos on YouTube to guide you through. This model also doesn’t require a PC to update before you can use it which was the main reason I chose it over other ones with the heat sink included. If you can afford it go ahead and do it!

Great way to increase memory if you have a hard to get PS5. Easy installation and great addition. Comes with heatsink so no worries there.

This is an excellent piece of hardware. It adds an additional 1TB of very fast internal storage to your Playstation 5. Not only can you store PS5 games but play them as well, as it is just as fast or maybe even faster than the existing SSD on board. Although you have to remove the PS5 covers, (both top and bottom) as well as remove one screw, it's a very easy installation. If you're a PC owner and have installed an M.2 SSD, it will be very familiar to you. Lots of extra storage and lots of speed, very satisfied with this purchase.

Great SSD for my PS5, just wish I’d had waited a bit longer because now the prices are just right for the 1tb and 2tb and that may be due to WD dropping a new SSD in the near future

I had bought several SSD”s and this by far has been the best one. It connected the easiest and had easy set up for all my games to clear up my ps5 space.

It's either this WD or Firecuda names best for the PS5. I Had an ADATA but ran over 500MB/s slower. The heat sink on it was horrible and ran hotter so I went with the WD.

I got this for the PS5. It was easy to install, and the system found it immediately. After a quick format, I was able to save games directly to it. This one has the built in heat sink, which is a requirement for the PS5. I have used WD drives in the past, and they have always lasted a long time. So far, I cannot tell the difference between a game loading on this drive vs. the drive that came with the PS5. Plus, Best Buy seems to offer discounts on this often. I highly recommend it for your PS5.

A game changer for the disc less PS5 must have the internal memory if you are gonna play big games like Thor ragnorrak

Best investment I made into my PS5, wait maybe the only investment besides the PS5. Anyways, you have to upgrade the storage and I’m glad I got this on sale!!!
