Works great, I currently game on Xbox series X and now PS5 it seems like I can hold more games on the Xbox than this ps5. Maybe one less game and most games are huge 80+GB per game with the series x it was just a memory card that slides into the back of the Xbox. With the ps5 if you have the disc version to take the cover off go to the disc side and pull up lightly and pull downwards on the right side of the console . It come off fairly easy then 2 screws one over the cover plate and then one with the retainer I had to put it in twice for it to read must not have had it set all the way. You also get the full 1tb of memory not the expected 50-100gb loss. It was plug and play I just had ti click format once I started the console up.

The internal storage for the ps5 is a must. This was very convenient to have since it comes with a heat sink already in it. Worth it in every way and needed for the PlayStation since storage is very minimal

I did my purchase online. I had no problems with the Best Buy app. When I retrieved my item at the best buy it was easy and pleasant experience.

Seriously though, space is a premium on a PS5, and having a very easy installation option via a NVMe drive is nice when that internal storage can't cut it anymore. Accidental Black Friday savings is nice too.

These item is a most own! It can store all of your PlayStation 5 games on your PlayStation. I have over 45 games on just 1 tb of storage, it’s amazing & very easy to install. I plan on buying another one.

This was incredibly easy to install and as soon as i turned my PS5 back on it automatically formatted the drive and confirmed its high speed. It's great not having to delete and reinstall games anymore.

On ps5 disc edition. Popped off the side, popped in the drive, formatted and everything is working as a single drive. No need to transfer items. Working without a hitch. Ps5 working at great speed, no lags.

Really fast access to your stored games on the PS5 console. Wish i would've gotten one sooner! I think it took me longer to open the box than actually installing it. If you need help with installation, YouTube is your friend.

Works great on PS5. This is the same drive as the officially licensed one except the color of the led (which you won't see anyway) but for less. Plug and play, simple install and format. Highly recommend

Can never go wrong with Western Digital products. I've heard good reviews on different PS5 posts and videos. If you're a gamer, this is needed because we all know how Call of Duty games take all the memory. Great purchase, I'm happy.

Had to update my wife's PS5 space and this was the best thing for it. Extra 1 gig to save all of her favorite games. Very fast read/write speeds...better than what the ps5 provides 10/10

Works very well, $100 for 1TB at 4k it’s really a steal it is a bit hard to put in the ps5 if you don’t have experience doing that kind of stuff though.

If you are looking for a ps5 storage upgrade. This is perfect. Works perfectly. Dont fall into the trap of going for the one that has playstation official licenses on it. They are literally the same!

Installed it in my PS5 for extra storage. Just plug and play. Chose this instead of Samsung 980 Pro for PS5 because of ease of use and no firmware update required and heatsink is included.

Very happy I bought this was simple to do and I am not good with any of this stuff. Was able to move old games onto here with no issue. Now I don’t need to cry everytime a call of duty update comes out and I have no room

Was super easy to install in my PS5, and works great. The PS5 recognized it right away on start up, formatted, and was on my way. I downloaded the new Horizon Forbidden West game onto it and it's working perfectly.

Incredibly fast and drastically improves loading times for PS4 and PS5 games. Read and write speeds were actually a bit faster for me than advertised! Comes with a heat sink too, overall a very nice package.
