Awesome lots of storage can’t complain no issues thanks

Bought this as part of my friend’s Christmas present. Works great, not too much of a hassle to install, 1tb + the internal factory storage is a nice setup. Plays PS4 and PS5 games instantly.

Got this as a gift for my birthday. The drive is very fast and a great addition to any PS5.

I got this for additional storage for a PlayStation 5. Installation was very easy and the system recognized it quickly, and formatted it. The drive performed very well and I expect very good service from it.

It sucks that PS5 would not come standard with more than a 1TB of memory considering how big some of this games are but I guess everyone has to make money off of us, the card is extremely fast easy install great performance.

With the current shortage of manufacturing plaguing the availability of goods, I wanted to jump on purchasing this SSD for my PS5. I got WD SSD on sale, and the price for 1TB wasn't bad at all. I know that prices will eventually recover and drop and other manufacturers will offer competitive prices, but I've been a loyal buyer of WD drives ever since I had a 386. Even with photography and film, I've still chosen WD over Lacie, and I'm looking forward to installing future titles on this when the PS5 runs out of stock memory. Installation was simple. Based on the length of the SSD, you just need to use the screw from the PS5 and install it at the end of the chip where there's a half circle. This will hold the SSD in place. Happy gaming!

This was very expensive and I’m not happy with playstion for not making consol with more memory but as it goes for this product is great very easy to install and super fast. Son is very happy for the extra storage space

Such a great little device. Really increased my storage capabilities on my PS5, made downloading so much faster. The hardest part wasn’t even part of this - the screw on the PlayStation stripped and I had to order a new one. Love this.

Easy to install and set up. Not as easy as sliding in a memory card behind the console and just playinf whats on your card like rhe Series S/X. Still way better then payinf 1/3 or 1/2 the console price for 1TB of memory.

This SSD is lightning fast and has given me exactly what I needed, more space for games! Installation was super simple and read/write speeds are even faster than the PS5’s already insanely fast internal SSD.

You need one if you want to have more than 4 games. It’s a lot easier to install than you think. It also makes it not hot.

If you have a PS5, you need this. I was between this and the 2TB variant, and this is more than enough for me. I'm someone who usually plays a game and deletes it upon completion. However, with the new PS Plus tiers, I have downloaded a few games to my library and I needed space for it. And anyone who plays COD, knows that the game takes up excessive amounts of space. So with this SSD, I was able to move about 10 games over to it, and still have a lot of space remaining. It's easy to install and games launch from it really fast. You couldn't tell a difference. So definitely worth the upgrade!

Bought for increased storage on my PS5. Easy install and great speeds out of it. Using it to store PS4 game data to free the internal SSD for PS5 games. Highly recommend.

Actually faster than the internal SSD that comes with the PS5. Super easy to install and having that extra 1tb is essential with these massive games lately.

Thw WD Black SN850 1 TB w/ Heat sink is a great an easy SSD upgrade for the PS5 it was affordable and eay to install my only regreat is i maybe should of just gone with the 2 tb but otherwise it works great.

The worst thing about the PS5 is the lack of storage space. It only comes with about 600GB really and after Call of Duty fills half of that you really run out of space fast. But with this drive adding another terabyte you will have more than enough space to play your games and switch out with ease. I added several old PS4 games that I like to play every now and then and still have hundreds of GBs of data to add more. It's a must have item for PS5 owners and it IS worth the cost. It's also very easy to install if you watch a few people show you on youtube. I was afraid of damaging the PS5 but it's super easy. Use a kitchen knife if you don't have a small screwdriver.

Great price from Beat Buy. Easy installation while I was cleaning my PS5 fan and just clipped it into the available slot and tightened a screw to hold it in place. Would highly recommend.
