    This drive is a perfect fit inside a PS5 with a Heatsink. Before putting it in your PS5, I recommend attaching it to an m.2 slot in a desktop to update the firmware with the WD software. This will dramatically increase the speed of the m.2 in the PlayStation.

    Purchased to add internal storage to my PS5. Easy to install with the assistance of the plethora of YouTube videos available. Maybe 10 minute install and another 10 for formatting once the PS5 was turned on. Super fast game downloads now. Well worth it.

    So far this kicks butt! It's great to add more memory and throw in more games. It also runs the games from the drive, unlike the external one that just saves games but you have to transfer them back into the internal drive
