    This is literally the best SSD for your new PS5 and or PC (non heat sink ones as well). This drive is blistering fast and have zero problems. The Samsung one forces you to update it and if you don’t know what you are doing or have a pc to do it, it’s annoying. Once you go black, you never go back.

    so i bought this and installation went fine and everything else. but the ps5 can not format it, it gets to 13% and says it can not format the m2. i have read up on this and some people say the drive might be defective so i am exchanging it today and hopefully i will be fine after that

    Bought this for my PS5 and it was a very simple install. Pro tip for those also wanting this to expand their PS5 storage: Follow the safe mode instructions when turning it back on the first time after install so it prompts to format the drive.

    I upgraded to this NVME drive for my PC after I had another storage device fail, and this has been worth every penny so far. Fast speeds, doesn't overheat, and will be around for a long time. Another bonus is these are usually on sale.
