I put this on my PS5 and it works. Its fast and so far reliable. The only negative is that the registration code is on the exact hardware and not on the box or inside.

My only problem was the ps5 itself. The screw you need to put on this product is very cheap so it strips easily so be careful. I say watch videos on it and make sure you have the right tools. Besides that the ssd is amazing

Very good SSD for PS5. Easy to install. A bit pricey along with it's name brand counterpart from Samsung. Shouldn't cost as much as it does but that is the market right now.

So I purchased it for my grandson PS5 but he did not install it immediately to find out it does not work and it was to late to return. I am very saddened by this situation.

This internal storage unit is awesome! I bought it for my Playstation 5 because stock it doesn't come with enough storage off the shelf. I'm able to transfer games extremely fast between the Playstation storage and the WD Black. 10 out of 10 Amazing!

This storage is a champ. Best speed and minot tune for capacity. Just enough to have your main games for great load speeds and contant run.

Definitely worth it for your ps5. The console already is low on memory and wanting all your favorite games is a pain when you have to remove one or two to add one or two, with this you can have them all.

Western Digital drives are always great. This one comes with a heat sink built in which makes it very convenient. Although I believe I rushed getting this SSD to expand my PS5 storage at almost $300. I happen to look around the electronics department of Walmart and saw the same SSD for $219. But overall everything runs fine. I gave 3 stars because I think it's over priced on Best Buy.

A necessary item for consoles of the current gen. It was on a bit of a sale when I purchased it and with the limited amount of space the PS5 has, the large size of games nowadays, it was a requirement

Glad i invested in this right here when i tell u its more than enough space believe me it is and for the price you Cant beat it i use it on my ps5 only bc it has 667 gb of space and thats not enough when games are over 100gb

Good experience, good delivery time. The only thing that I would change is to add the tax vale on checkout according to the zip code to easily compare prices… and of course to restock with the rtx 3080 and 3080 ti graphic cards :)

Solid product with easy installation. works great so far, SO I'm hopefully not going to have to change this score. A bit pricey, but so far , worth it

I think this was a pretty good option for extra storage for the PS5. I haven't had any problems downloading/playing games with it so far.

I bought this for extra space in my PS5 but have had many issues with games writing on the drive.

Unfortunately, even if you own the physical disks, you still have to download the full game onto the console's SSD and you will inevitably run out of space. Get this during a sale and you won't regret it.

Its good and fast but it was formated in a different format and took forever to make it work for PC.

This has made the PS5 worth having. I was so disappointed to finally get a hold of a PS5… only to be able to play two of my games due to limited space (Stupid on Sony’s part). This made the PS5 worth having.

Looking for a SSD for your Ps5? This is it! It's the same one that has the official PS logo so it's unnecessary to spend extra just for a logo that you're never going to see

If you just bought a PS5, this is a MUST HAVE!!! Space is limited and nobody likes deleting, moving, reloading games when they want to play. Just buy it (or a larger version)!!
