Great Expansion for my PS5! This SSD is very fast when downloading to and transferring games/data! With the PS5 having pretty low storage (especially with game sizes today) I would/have recommend it for every PS5 owner!

I love this memory card, it has no problems whatsoever, my PS5 doesn't overheat. If you want something good that will last a long time, I recommend it.

Incredible product. I had maxed my storage fairly quickly on my PS5 and this fixed the problem entirely. This paired with an external hard drive for my PS4 games makes me feel like I have all the infinity stones for my PS5.

Installed easily into PS5. Just works, and seems to be as fast as the PS5's internal storage. If you're using with PS5, definitely make sure you get the heatsink version. If you're buying for a desktop, check your motherboard, as it may already have a heatsink over the area where you can install SSDs. (E.g., the Asus gaming motherboard that I have does have a heatsink already for SSD installation. It's actually more difficult to install an SSD if it already has one. (Generally, as with the Asus, the motherboard heatsink can be removed, but that's just more steps. Theoretically, you could remove the heatsink from an SSD that has one, but that is prone to mistakes and potential harm to the SSD.)

I used this for my secondary internal ssd for my game console and it works flawlessly and give me enough storage for my game collection and never worried about deleting games to play new games.

Works great and pretty easy to install. Even for a non tech person. Plenty of "how to videos" out there. Worth the price. Meh. It is what it is sadly.

Great purchase for my PS5, the Samsung 980 Pro requires a firmware update to give you read speeds of 6500 mb/s but this SSD by Western Digital gives you that same speed right out the box (for $20 less at the time of this writing). Installing to the PS5 took less than 5 minutes, I do suggest watching a video on how to remove the cover plate. Transferring from the console SSD to the WD SSD is really fast. So far I don't have any issues to report although I tried to check my warranty status through Western Digital and they said my drive didn't show up. I provided photo evidence of the serial number of the drive and my purchase receipt to them and i'm still waiting to hear back from them because the description here says I should be covered for 5 years from the purchase date by the manufacter. I'll be sure to provide an update here if I encounter any issues. Thanks Best Buy.

Honestly, I have no other comparison as this is the first SSD upgrade I have done for my PS5. I do know however that the WD Black brand has great reviews which is how I based my decision to purchase. The install and setup on the PS5 is super easy.

Great price and seamless install and huge value advantage over the disgustingly overpriced proprietary cards the Series X requires.

Really liked it. Works really fast. No problems. Had it for several months. Very easy to install. No need to add any thermal adhesives. Definitely recommend.

2TB of additional fast speed memory....nothing to complain and every reason for being satisfied!! Been in my PS5 for over two years and still going strong. No loss of speed or failure.

This is a great NVME SSD drive for the price. Plenty of space for current and future games I want. Very easy to install, took only a few minutes. Games now load much faster.

My PlayStation 5 was running low on storage and this is what Sony recommended for expansion and it doesn’t disappoint. Fast read write times plus 2 terabytes of storage for a good price makes this a must have.

Great for a PS5! Super easy to install and it’s super fast and you can play your PS5 games from it unlike an external HD and comes with a heat sink on it.

I brought this for my husband to go with his PS5 since he had to uninstall games because of lack of storage. We caught it on sale and purchased the 2TB. Installtion was literally easy as 1,2,3. The PS5 had a space for this. We remived the cover, removed screw, added the 2TB, screwed in place, put the cover back. The system recognized it and that was it. He has been able to play games with no issues and not having to uninstall! This is a must if you have a PS5! It is a little pricey, but we caught a great sale for $229 for 2TBs.

WORTH IT!! i got it on sale and it was soo worth it to store all my game, the speed at which the game start is really fast. for some game, it even beat the ps5 internal storage when loading and starting game and I was so impress. i say this is worth it for the money because it is not that expensive and run really great. i bought the one with the heatsink because I just want to plug it in and not have to think about it after that. this thing don't get really hot, I even measure it and it run amazingly. it worth it if you need more storage for the ps5, definitely recommend!

Definitely extremely useful for people who like to have a wide selection of games ready to go at a given time. Just plug it in and that’s the end of it. Hard to imagine life without it.
