Bought another one for my husband. I would recommend this to anyone.

I can not tell the difference between this and the Samsung brand 1tb.

Purchased in April, failed in October. Computer crashed while I was working. Turns out at least one sector of the drive failed. When it was working properly, it was a decent drive for the price. Will update after I contact WD.

So far so good. No known issues to report at this time.

Great solid state drive that we used on our first gaming build.

Great value for 1TB drive. Used to store games vs boot m.2 SSD.

Note that this hard drive does NOT come with the software to install it, and its manufacturer states right on the package that they intend it for professional installation. The software can be downloaded online, but note that it is very picky about your machine, and not very user friendly. It will only clone your windows installation if your old hard drive was also a late model WD. In my case, I didn't have the WD drive, so I couldn't clone my old drive. Instead I had to create a "rescue disk", swap in the new drive, and cross my fingers that the rescue disk would boot and reinstall a recognized legit copy of Windows. Only then could I reinstall software and copy hundreds of gigabytes of photos onto the new drive. Overall very nerve wracking, buyer beware!

it may not be fastest sdd but a pretty good replacement of hdd

It’s a 1tb hard drive it does it’s job fast read and weight speeds.

This had to be returned to Best Buy because it will not work in my laptop, even though it was recommended by the Geek Squad tech who did my remote tune up. I also asked on the Q & A on the Best Buy site if it would work and was told yes. Glad it was able to be returned!

hard drive works well...but the software didn't seem to work for me.

Got this to replace my drive in my Mac mini so far so good.

This was just what I was looking for. Works as expected.

Not sure why the SSD failed on the first try. Best Buy was great though and gave me another easily and quickly at the store. Second one is working well so far. Took a while to get set up.

This SSD was on sale at a great price when I bought it. However, when I read the specifications on the box after I picked it up I returned it because of the slow response times.

When it worked, it was quite fast.. but then it died the day after it was past the returnable date. Admittedly this is the first time i've had this bad of a problem with a Western Digital device dying so quickly, but my son used his birthday money to upgrade his PC and now he is out a hundred bucks, So yeah i'm a bit peeved..

disappointed when i opened up the packing to get SANDISK warranty card. Not an original Western Digital item but rather a repackaged SANDISK SSD. SNADISK is an ok brand though

The product helped but my laptop is still not working well. Maybe I need a new computer although this one is only 3 years old.
