Sata cable connection. Easy instructions. You might have to youtube a how to vid but regardless my computer needed space and this works perfect compared to other more expensive brands. Good for gaming

I don't know why I didn't upgrade sooner. I put one of these inside my old 9 years old desktop that was still using a HDD. I don't have money to upgrade the full PC but I definitely needed more speed for the tasks that I'm using it for now. I upgraded the RAM which helped but when I later coupled the RAM upgrades with this SSD, it was like night and day. I felt like I had a brand new PC! Booting the PC, loading apps, gaming, everything is faster and more responsive. I highly recommend it!

Easy to install in my laptop. Once the operating system is fully installed, it boots up in 5 seconds, compared to a hard disk, 4 & a half to 5 minutes to completely boot.

Great replacement from the original HDD. Very fast start up's! The only issue I had was finding good cloning software. Whatever you choose insure first you have the latest software before starting.

I purchased a few of these SSD's to install in friends laptops and towers. I have found them to be reliable, reasonably priced, and provide a significant performance improvement over mechanical hard drives.

As expected from WD, this thing is rapid and a solid performer for the price. The HHD on an old laptop died so I slapped this bad boy in to get her running again. She runs like a modern machine now!

Easy to replace existing drive. Loaded a brand new Windows 10 Pro OS without any issues. Drive has worked very well for the last month I have had it. Purchased drive at a significant savings over retail.

I'v e bought several of these to upgrade old drives to SSD to speed up older laptops. Great price and the free software available from WD migrates the data flawlessly.

Normally I run Samsung SSDs or m.2s but they're certainly more expensive so I tried this for a repair build I was doing and it's great rock solid n fast I tried some PNY in the part not impressed

This went perfectly into my Dell Latitude-E6420 Intel i5-2540M @ 2.6GHz, 2.6GHz, 2 cores, 4 logical processors, BIOS Version/Date: Dell Inc. A25, 3/6/2018, 8GB RAM. I used EasyUS Partition Master to clone the existing 1TB HDD to the new 1TB SSD with the SSD connected to the laptop using a USB to SATA adapter. After the cloning completed, I swapped the HDD for the SSD and booted right up. What difference in boot time and all applications requiring disk access!

replaced HDD after problems booting / pegged disk and CPU in task manager. Easy install and W10 reload. Should have done this sooner. Huge performance improvement!

Fast file transfers with complete ease of plug and play. Small form factor makes it easy to mount almost anywhere. I use a 1/2 TB WD Blue SSD for my media drive but several operations are still very slow. Performance monitoring showed high disk queues on my boot drive - a Caviar Green WD10EARS 5400 RPM mechanical 1 TB SATA drive so I bought the SSD because I was upgrading to Win10 from Win7 (fresh install) and decided to make the new boot disk on an SSD. Wow - am I happy with it now.

Works great, speeded up computer nicely. Instructions on how to transfer computer data to new drive would have been helpful.

I am using it in my laptop to store my games on. This drive is incredibly fast and easy to setup just format it in windows and your good to go. My games load so fast now with this drive.

Worked as expected , durable too. Bought as a present for a friend and they liked it , big enough to store photos and videos and with much use , has shown no issues.

Fantastic speed and loading of all applications. This drive is great and speeds your system up massively. Would use this in the place of the old style HDD any day of the week.

Bought this to use with my Atomos Ninja V. A lot less expensive than the Angel Bird and works just as good. Does hang off the side of the monitor a bit more than i’d like but gotta give a little to save a little.
