Threw this into my PC when I was rebuilding it. Had to buy a new motherboard so I figured if I was always reinstalling windows I might as well have my OS running on a solid state drive. It's not the fastest SSD out there but it's still incredibly fast. total boot time is around 3 seconds with Steam, Razer, and Discord all up as start up programs. It works much faster than I expected it to, loading games is also really fast. I play a lot of CIV online with my friends and I'm always loaded in and finish my first turn before any of my friends have loaded into the game.

Great little drive for PS4. I just purchased a 3rd ps4 (refurb from Sony) for our house and right away I bought this drive to upgrade it. Not many games go on this PS4, just the main few the family plays (online) so I stayed with 1TB. This cuts loading time almost in half. I have never had an issue with WD Blue and currently own approx 10 WD blue drives.

This has been a reliable and fast hard drive. Upgraded from another brand of SSD mostly for additional capacity but performance is fine on my 7-8 year old PC with this.

Got it on sale and it was worth every penny. Bought this as a gift for a friend who didn't have a SSD and it made such a huge difference for him.

Western Digital has always been a name I can trust when it comes to hard drives. This one is no exception. This hard drive is silent, and works fast. Great upgrade for an old computer or new.

I should've bought this a long time ago. my computer runs faster and goes from page to page faster. It boots faster also, I can power it on and it's ready in seconds

Bought this for my sons computer. Worked right out of the box with no issues. Great way to add space for some of his games.

Moving from a 2TB spinner to this was a massive improvement (duh?). My motherboard only has one m.2 and I foolishly got a 512gb. Well, games are 200-300gb max now (with high res packages). So getting an old school sata drive was my only option. But, I didn't want to spend much. This SSD still comes with DRAM and feels great. It feels just as fast as my m.2, because lets face it, not many applications require sequential r/w. Playing any current gen game is fine, I am still one of the fastest to load into any game with maxed out settings.

Super fast internal SSD at a great price! I successfully upgraded my mid-2012 MacBook Pro with this, and it's working superbly!

It was easy to install the SSD to put on the OS. The PC was faster after installing this kind of drive. It replaced a SATA Drive. No driver needed to install drive.

I added this Solid State Drive as a last ditch effort rather than buy a new computer....Installment was easy and the computer is like a new machine...Much faster...

Good hard drive, no problems so far. For the price, it was a good amount of storage and it’s been working well in my PS4 to speed things up quite a bit.

This and the 500gb WD Blue SSD's were my first WD SSD purchases. They definitely don't disappoint! They are just as good as the Samsung drives and other higher end SSD's. Good speed and performance too!

I vowed to never use hard drives in computers again. When I purchased my new desktop, I swapped out the hard drive for this one painlessly. Easy to use and at a fairly good price.

This SSD has breathed new life into my older laptop. It's very fast and works as advertised. I'm hoping it'll go on sale again so that I can purchase another one!

Great drive for $50. With most of the new laptops coming with 256 gb drives now and the cost of these dropping, an additional HD is going to be a necessity.

Solid product. My son needed some extra drive space for the Steam Summer Sale purchases and the 1TB SSD fit the bill. Easy setup and we were ready to download.

Installation is simple and results were noticeable immediately. If you have an HDD, I encourage you to switch to an SSD.
