I'm sure there are faster SSD's out there on the market, but they're much more expensive. For the price I paid for this 1 TB SSD, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Soooo much faster then orig. iMac HD. My old iMac is like brand a new rig and boots in mere seconds. 3rd WD blue in 2 years and all work great.

My wife bought a new HP laptop with a 1 TB hard drive, 8 GB of RAM, and an AMD Ryzen 3 2300U processor. It worked okay, but it was a bit slow. I had purchased a similar laptop several years back and put a Sandisk SSD in that machine. What a difference in speed. So, I suggested to my wife that we try an SSD in her new laptop. We bought the WD 1 TB on sale a few weeks ago, and I installed it. Once again, the difference in speed was amazing. So far, all is working well and my wife is happy, so I think we can say this SSD is well worth the $100+ we paid for it.

I bought this SSD on sale to upgraded my PCs 256gb SSD to this 1TB SSD because I was running low on space. This SSD was a good value for the amount of space and Western Digital is usually pretty reliable. I'm sure there are other SSDs that are better but this WD blue label works just fine for my needs at a low price.

Replaced an old disk drive with this one and it is definitely worth the price of the upgrade. Cloned my old drive and it has been working great since then. WD is my go-to always.

A direct replacement for a 1TB regular hard drive. Using an external hard drive docking station, the downloaded Acronis for Western Digital cloning software effectively transferred the contents of my old hard drive. Replacing the old hard drive with this SSD drive, it improved the performance of an older laptop when booting up, loading programs and other disk intensive tasks. Now, I can continue using my laptop for a while longer. Cheaper than replacing the laptop.

You will not be disappointed. This is a easy choice if you are looking for quality at a lower price. Compare to Samsung Evo series these are better.

This SSD is super fast. I am in the process of replacing all of my Laptop HDD's with SSD's . SSD's are more reliable and speed up the booting my laptop.
