I bought this when the hard drive in my ps4 pro hard drive went out. Installation and setup was super easy. Seems to be faster than the old drive.

A direct replacement for a 1TB regular hard drive. Using an external hard drive docking station, the downloaded Acronis for Western Digital cloning software effectively transferred the contents of my old hard drive. Replacing the old hard drive with this SSD drive, it improved the performance of an older laptop when booting up, loading programs and other disk intensive tasks. Now, I can continue using my laptop for a while longer. Cheaper than replacing the laptop.

Computer has more storage with greater speed. My works faster and more proficient. The Geek Squad replacing my hard drive was well worth it.

Replaced an older spinning disk internal hard drive with this one on a 5 year old desktop with an i5 processor and 16 gigs of ram. It's like I bought a new computer. SSDs make a world of difference in speed.

So, I bought this on a whim, for a customer who had their 750Gb HDD fail in an older laptop. I told him to get an SSD, the difference in how fast their laptop felt, would be incredible. He wanted to upgrade to 1Tb, which I didn't have, but the Best Buy 5 minutes from me did. So I ordered it online, got in my car and picked it up. Purchased to replace an old hard drive. After installing and moving operating system and data I noticed a big increase in performance. Only giving it 4 stars because WD went cheap when it comes to software and help. My old drive was 500GB, the new SSD is 1TB. WD does not provide formatting software to allow the move from a smaller drive to the larger one. I spent weeks trying to figure it out. Worked with WD technicians and finally bought a software package that allowed me to perform this function. Not sure but I think other SSD manufactures may include the necessary software for this task. Other than that I have always had good luck with WD.

Bought this drive to be dedicated for gaming. has enough storage (for now) to handle CoD and other games. Loads everything really fast.

Solid SSD, very responsive. 1tb is plentiful and the price makes it even more worth it. Highly reccomend
