I upgraded from a 250GB SSD to this 1TB SSD it's faster and plenty of extra room to partition into another drive for storage.

Easy to install. What a difference from my old SATA drive. I decide to replace my Hard dive on my 4 year old laptop. before it took about 20 seconds for my laptop to get to the sign on screen now 8 seconds my downloads are faster and opening files much faster. made my decision from reviews I am glad I replace the drive with this WD SD drive. A good Buy . Waiting for a SALE to buy another one.

I had an old win 10 computer and put in a solid state drive. The clone process was super easy for a non technical person and now when I boot the computer it is up super quick. I no longer wait 30 seconds to print and even using photo software there are zero hourglass moments where I wait. And wait. I do believe my old computer will get a couple years or extra life until win 10 support ends. Best upgrade since I moved to windows 10.

Replaced my disk drive with this and my computer is running like a breeze. Not having the delays and crashes I was having with my old drive.

I WENT TO THE BEST BUY WEBSITE, STOPPED IN THE BEST BUY STORE IN THE SOUTH LOOP IN CHICAGO AND FOUND THEM ON SALE!!! $50 CHEAPER!!! I BOUGHT THREE FOR MY STUDIO COMPUTERS!!! THE COMPUTERS RUN QUICKER AND OVERALL BETTER!!! GREAT BUY!!!!

Very easy to install and was great right after installing it. I love this new drive and it sped up my old computer very much.

Turned my 2017 Dell laptop into a speed machine. Super fast boot up and read/write times. Easy to swap out as well.

I bought to try and speed boot up times on my Dell laptop. It had 5400rpm mechanical drive and was taking a long time to boot up. I used a USB to SATA adapter and Macrium reflect to copy the partitions from the old drive to this one and when finished I installed the drive in my laptop. It now boots much faster. (from a couple of minutes to 10s of seconds). I was surprised it made this much of a difference and I'm very happy.

I got this SSD at a really good sale price and it saved me a lot of money. I was going to replace the old laptop which was running really slow and thought I would give this SSD a try. I removed 4 screws on the bottom panel of the computer and popped out the tired HD. I slipped this drive into its place, replaced the panel and did a clean Windows 10 install from a USB drive. The laptop now boots up in 12 seconds.

As always Western Digital is the winner! I was replacing a 500 gigabyte hard drive of the old types, spinning platters when I saw the deal for this Western Digital SSD. I could not resist the deal so down to Best Buy I flew, and boy am I glad. This hard drive is TOUGH, it took a licking when one of my cat's knocked it off the table. It is fast too I recommend this to anyone looking for more space on their laptop or even in their desktop how about NAS as well.

This hard drive is super fast and reliable.. You won't find much better than this brand

Easy install. The software from WD is not excellent, just needs some additional features and clearer directions. Other than that, this has been a great upgrade for the price from an SATA drive. Does NOT come with a cable, in case you are adding it as a secondary.

I purchased this drive to replace a smaller SSD drive in my computer. So far I have been very pleased with it's speed and reliability.
