Great upgrade for Playstation Consoles!

Used this in my Playstation 3 with no problems! PS3 can't use all the capabilities of a SSD, just still a noticeable increase in speed. Both a 2TB version of this same line of SSDs for my PS4 Pro. Now my PS3 and PS4 match my PS5 in having Solid State Drives!

Installation was a breeze and only took five minutes once I removed the old drive.

Not as much of a gamble as I had assumed

I consider it a victory if it isn't mysteriously dead in a week. Had a Crucial and a couple others give up the ghost quite quickly. Pretty much only buy Samsungs at this juncture, but none of them were same day pickup so I did what I consider rolling the dice on this WD. However, this SSD operates thoroughly satisfactory and is nicely priced.
