Since I cloned Windows to this drive, I'm up and running in less than 10 seconds. I can't speak to durability as I've only had it for three weeks. It came with no instructions whatever but they were easily accessible online.

Live in the Now

While I didn't gain any additional space the performance is magical. The Laptop not runs much quieter and cooler not to mention it is noticeably more responsive. I can't go back to mechanical hard drives on laptops now. It was something of a challenge to set up, but it's nothing a little patience and ingenuity can't fix.

Had to use Macrium Reflect to get the drive to install though. Tried to use Acronis twice and system would just boot back into windows with no reason as to why. Macrium however reported that my drive I was trying to clone was corrupt. So after repairing the Hard Drive (WD Raptor) The install went smooth. And drive works great. Windows boots up 4 times faster.

WD Blue 1 TB SSD is really WORTH IT!!!

I knew it would increase the performance of the unit to an extent... I just didn't realize how great of an improvement there would be. I can truthfully say that the performance improvement has been like night and day!

You will not regret it, I suggest this to anyone that has a laptop or desktop that uses an HDD as their primary drive that they should swap. Your computer is going to feel like a brand new machine. Tired of long load times in games? this is a great SSD for that too without breaking the bank.
