This SSD brought a lot of life back to the laptop and installed flawlessly. I have used Western Digital hard drives for years, and am very satisfied with their quality and warranties. I highly recommend this SSD.

Replaced HDD

Replaced HDD in an older Dell Intel Core i7 laptop. It breathed new life into the old laptop. Everything was much faster. If I would have known that the speed would improve this much, I would have replaced it years ago.

I have other WD SSDs and have been completely happy with them. The performance they provide for the price is pretty good, and this one is the perfect size for all my games and then some.

Very Fast and Affordable Solution for Backups

I am using this drive as a backup and place to keep some seldom-used files. The 1 terabyte drive allows me to back up my 500-gigabyte laptop regularly and move some files off the laptop that improved my performance.

Hard Drive Upgrade

I am extremely happy that the Best Buy employee in Omaha suggested this for my application. I am also happy that my best buy (Grand Island, NE) was able to complete the upgrade.

Good budget game SSD

It runs OS and application just fine as premium SSD or even NVME. Due to its average performance, I wouldn't recommend it for video editing or where you move a lot of files in between. It's good as a game drive.

Great Product

So much faster on startup and with application. Would recommend anyone who is still on HDD to go SSD. Cloned my old drive from HDD to SSD with WD Acronis and all was good.

Removed the old ssd and placed this one in it's place, installed windows, changed the boot order in the bios to recognize the new ssd and everything works perfectly. I did something myself instead of paying some computer guy an arm and a leg to do the same thing.

Make sure to get some mounting brackets for your tower if you do not have any. Great for being my hard drive on my gaming rig with better speed. I would recommend like all the other positive reviews which led me to purchase one.

When I got home and opened my laptop for the first time after being fixed, I couldn’t believe how fast I got to work on it.
