Depending on what kind of drive you are using now dictates how crazy the difference this SSD will make for you. I used this to replace an old mechanical drive in my mac mini and it was a huge night and day difference. If you are already running an SSD or even an m.2 SSD this will make little to no difference for you.

If you want your computer to go way faster, you definitely need to install an SSD hard drive. I was having trouble with my laptop, but when I changed to this HDD that was part of the past. I highly recommend anyone to get this HDD

I brought my ASUS 64-bit PC to the Best Buy Geek Squad when the machine stopped working. The Geek Squad diagnosed the problem as a failed hard disk drive and suggested that the repair be made by installing a solid state drive. Given the reasonable cost of the WD-Blue SATA 2.5" Internal Solid State Drive (about $100), I went along with the Geek Squad's suggestion. The Geek Squad correctly installed the solid state drive and completed the repair within a very reasonable time frame (less than two days). With the solid state drive, my PC is running significantly faster. I highly recommend the WD-Blue Solid State Drive to other owners of older PC's, as it significantly improves PC performance and is a cost effective alternative to buying a new PC.

This installed easily, which is what I expected. It's working quietly in the background just as one would want. Really, it's a solid state drive. You aren't supposed to have to think about how it's doing. It's just supposed to do it. This one does just do it.

Seriously not sure how you could go wrong with a Western Digital SSD. I've been running this in a Mac Mini from 2010 and it works great. Faster boot up, faster program launches. I've also used this drive in old laptops to refresh them. Not much else to say.

I installed in a 2011 Mac Mini was was a little more difficult than I was expecting. I have installed drives in many macs and this was the most delicate but not terrible. This drive turned my old mini in to a speed demon. Much faster than the original drive. Very happy

I've been using these to upgrade desktops and laptops with failing hard drives for about 2 years. Not one has failed yet. Great alternative to buying a new computer, as your machine will run faster than it ever was new.

My first SSD ever and I feel i took forever. I love my HP laptop and have had it for a while. I was looking to buy a new one but decided to just upgrade the drive and memory so I can play my Sims 4. Great buy! Loads up so much faster than with the HDD.

This WD Solid State Drive was the only part that we needed for my laptop. We had to re-image it and my original internal hard drive was faulty in which it slowed down the computer speed. Now, it is working better than ever !!

I got the 1 TB WD Blue for my secondary drive. I have about 750 gb of games and stuff on it so far and no problems as of yet. It's a solid drive and when on sale is a good price. Speeds are good, nothing special compared to most other SSD's. WD's warranty is great too.

This SSD is great! I use it to store my PC games on and it’s FAST. Games take a couple of seconds to load! 10/10 Only complaint is that when I plugged it in and went to format, it was on “READ ONLY”. But it only took a couple of minutes to fix that

so far this has been one of the best purchases I've made this year. i transferred all of my most used games to this drive and everything loads so much more quickly. i wish SSD's were less exensive but i am very satisfied with my purchase

Outstanding performance, I have replace my regular hds in both desktops and laptops. I notice a major difference in both process and video performance. I brought a hand full of them when the price dropped to 90 dollars each. Worth money no doubt.

Great SSD for a decent price. I have been using this for about 2 years to store all my Steam games and other applications. I have not run into any issues in the two years of owning this SSD.

I bought this drive to update my aging laptop. Now it runs faster, cooler, and quieter. What more could you ask for? Downloadable software from the manufacturer made cloning my old drive quick and easy, too. Very happy with my purchase!

Purchased two of these drives while they were on sale for $99 and configured them in a RAID0 setup. The performance is fantastic and the price was even better. They have a very long predicted lifespan so definitely a worthy investment for computer performance.

I’ve always trusted WD storage devices. This solid state model did not disappoint. We had a laptop that was no use. This drive along with clean install of Win 10 has brought it back to life. I will order again and highly recommend!! You won’t believe the difference.

I bought this SSD and put it in my 2012 MacBook Pro as part of an upgrade. It went in easy and has worked well, so far. The speed is good, though I haven't tested it nor do I run it very hard with my normal usage. If anything changes, I'll repost in the future.

Made an old ready to be scrapped desktop computer like new. Cloning was not easy, had to get Geek Squad to do set it up as a boot drive, but that is a Windows issue. Definitely recommend this SSD.

got this to put into an external shell and use with my xbox one and man the load times are amazing with this! Was a simple plug and play item no way to install it incorrectly in the external shell.
