I had a 1TB 7200 RPM had drive. I decided to upgrade to an SATA SSD for my desktop. This drive is actually much faster than a SATA 7200 spinning hard drive. It boots much faster and data retrieval is also much faster. I"m very happy with this drive.

I buy Western Digtial because the quality is reliable in the hard drives they sell and the quality is also in the SSDs. Inexpensive, power and quality is hard to come by. Buy this SSD if you need to save money but need quality! You wont be disappointed.

I picked up two of these one for my desktop and one for my laptop. So impressed by the speed of these SSD drives and they last longer and have less issues than traditional hard drives due to no moving parts. Worth every penny!

Used this drive to upgrade a laptop that was slooowing down. Big difference in boot times and general use. If you have no issues opening up your computer and wish to extend the life of said system, get an SSD. WD makes good solid drives and the price is right.

Had this installed to replace the drive in my aging all-in-one PC. It tripled the speed of my computer! Now I can hold off on buying a new one for at least a couple years

I saw this SSD on sale and thought itd be perfect. It's not the highest of quality but for the price that it was reduced to plus being an upgrade to my preexisting HDD I figured it was worth it and it definitely has shown improvements to my PC.

My laptop was very slow so I changed hard disk from HDD to SSD. Now my laptop boots fast and works good. Cloning was easy with free software Acronis True Image from WD website.

I have used WD drives for years, and they have always outperformed other brands that I replaced. This SSD is an awesome drive and worth the price. If you are looking for a reliable SSD for your PC, Mac or PS4, WD is definitely the way to go.

I'm currently using this for Ubuntu Linux 19.04. I had Ubuntu 18.10 on a regular HDD which was acceptable. But, with the performance of an SSD, I don't ever want to go back. You really have no idea beforehand how much better it can be, until you experience it for yourself.

This SSD has progressed in performance over the years I have used them. They now cary a 5 year warranty. Bring any computer with an ailing HDD back to life. Haven't had a problem with a single drive. These are my goto SSD.

Samsung was my usual go to which is still just a tad better but not enough to justify the cost difference for this amazing drive. Fast boot times, programs load fast breathes new life into an older laptop Buy it, you will not regret it!

I needed this mainly for game storage, and it fits the bill. Much faster than my previous 2tb sshd hybrid drives. Probably pick a few more up in the future so I can keep each one less filled and retain those higher read/write speeds. Would buy again!

I went from traditional mechanic hard drive that was considered fast for its time to this and WOW. my life has changed. already considering to buy an other one for more storage for my games.

WD always performs admirably l, even while behind Samsung. This SSD offers the speed you're expecting at a better deal than the Samsung alternative. The extra read/write speed in the Samsung (which is barely) won't feel worth the cost. Great buy.

Two months in and the drive is running well. Easy to install WIN10 and the performance has been a noticeable improvement over previous traditional Hard Drive Discs. Startup from cold state is under a minute, previous drive could be up to 5-10min.

I installed this myself with no issues. Was the first time doing so, just did a quick YouTube search. Have been using it for gaming and have had no issues

I use this as my game installation drive, and an NVME as my OS drive, never had an issue with loading time. I used tools and found the speed to be what they claimed it was. good drive.

Was a simple switch out. Plug and play. Saw some major differences with games loading. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Great card. Brought my computer that I built back in 2013 to 2020. Starts up in 10 seconds. No messed up save files. Quicker file transfer. If you haven't made the switch to full ssd your life sucks. Part of the ship. Part of the crew.

This was the perfect solid-state hard drive for my older laptop. It does everything that I needed to do and I didn’t need to purchase any other products to have this installed by the geek squad. Very happy
