My laptop was very slow so I changed hard disk from HDD to SSD. Now my laptop boots fast and works good. Cloning was easy with free software Acronis True Image from WD website.

Talk about speed at the right price. I installed this hard drive to replace a fail one; the previous hard drive was a regular SATA and it was not slow at all; but this SSD really makes a difference: "More speed"

This was the perfect solid-state hard drive for my older laptop. It does everything that I needed to do and I didn’t need to purchase any other products to have this installed by the geek squad. Very happy

I was surprised how different SSD's are, I had SD plus and wanted to upgrade to bigger capacity. I "benchmark" tested the old one before swapping and this one after - this one is substantially faster. Otherwise no complaints, does what is supposed to.

I bought this to replace a bad hard drive. Decided to go solid state. It comes unformatted. Had to do a google search to find out how to format and how to get it recognized. It took some fiddling, but finally got it to work. i like WD products.

It lives up to the best SSD drives and owned quite a few of SSD's. I have put to the test which is partitioning and formatting over and over(30 times). and all I can that it runs just like new boots fast. great for laptops and PC's too.

It may not be the fanciest or fastest but it's reliable, stable, and great option for upgrading a laptop from an older drive (or perhaps a disc drive) Not much else to say. If you need an SSD for every day stuff. This is a good one.

I use this as my game installation drive, and an NVME as my OS drive, never had an issue with loading time. I used tools and found the speed to be what they claimed it was. good drive.

I purchased a solid state drive to replace my existing older drive in my 17" HP Laptop and the difference was from night to day! And the Geek Squad completed the installation in one day! :)

Hard drive booted with a message that it was mortally wounded. Going to solid state with the same size drive cost about twice what the hard drives would have. This solid state drive has improved performance-- dropped boot time to between 1/3 and 1/2 of what it had been. There are minimal instructions provided; but the instructions do state that they expect installation to be done by persons qualified to do the task. On my hp 15-ac143wm changeout of drives was relatively accessible.

Great drive, cloning software is weak. You would think such a large company would have better software support options. Nonetheless, the drive is working perfectly in a Dell Inspiron where a 1 tb much drive was replaced.

Purchased for a Toshiba that my hard drive failed, They said maybe 2 weeks, but they had it in and working in less that 2 hour's! and its an SSD, so hopefully last longer that the original

Very good replacement SSD drive for my old notebook. Very good choice for updating hard drive and significantly increase computer speed. Use free software to clone the computer hard drive and no problem in replacement.

Great SSD! Made my MAC super fast! The old HHD drive was definitely the slowest link in the chain, and was starting to make funny noises. I feel much better about the security of my data now.

Nice price on these. They are getting closer to the spinning rust prices. Still a little high but I think I got it on sale for about 95 or so. I always trust WD have never had one fail unless it was over 5 years old.

Great value, great speed. Was having issues with my pc being slow. This is a game changer

This was a perfect upgrade from my small 126GB SSD. Now I can download all of the games I am currently playing and the loading times to get the game booted and transition from loading screens are way quicker. Definitely worth the money!

Upgraded my MacBook Pro, it's a little older model 2012 but this definitely helped my performance overall and I'm going to get some more mileage out of my mac. Don't forget to format it before you use it.

I installed this myself with no issues. Was the first time doing so, just did a quick YouTube search. Have been using it for gaming and have had no issues
