We were laughed at 15 years ago when we said SSD is the future, BUT here we are folks and I hope it's here to stay. Perfect for our needs and so easy to get up and running again. Thanks BB.

Hard drive booted with a message that it was mortally wounded. Going to solid state with the same size drive cost about twice what the hard drives would have. This solid state drive has improved performance-- dropped boot time to between 1/3 and 1/2 of what it had been. There are minimal instructions provided; but the instructions do state that they expect installation to be done by persons qualified to do the task. On my hp 15-ac143wm changeout of drives was relatively accessible.

WD Blue is a great balance of high reliability and cost. I use it in an SSD bay to record data that can be removed and stored until needed later and not take up space on primary drives in computer

This was a perfect upgrade from my small 126GB SSD. Now I can download all of the games I am currently playing and the loading times to get the game booted and transition from loading screens are way quicker. Definitely worth the money!

I bought this to replace the main hard drive in my HP laptop and it works great. So much faster than the old school platter hard drives.

The ease of installation and the performance gain that I achieved in trading out my old platter driver hard drive for this SSD drive is phenomenal! Caught this on sale and that was just the icing on the cake!

I installed Ubuntu on this drive effortlessly in just a few minutes, and was amazed by its performance. Mechanical hard drives are a thing of the past for me. For best results, though, be sure that your computer supports SATA 3.

This SSD was a bargain and it was literally "plug-and-play." I backed up my old 500 GB SSD to another drive, swapped it for this one, and just restored to the new drive. Up and running in 10 minutes tops! Now I have twice the storage space. :)

If your deciding between and ssd and an nvme choose the ssd with more storage without timing the boot times you'll never tell the difference between the two, now if your coming from an hdd to an ssd theres a giant difference

My PC was working VERY slow, so I decided to buy this SSD to boot my pc and it was so fast I decided to use it as my main drive, the cool thing is I could continue to use my old drive so I didn't have to delete anything!

Not just the product that excels but the Geek Tarah who recommended it. Computer old and with many faults. After this hard drive installed actually functions better than new.

Very fast speeds, this harddrive was a great value and really cut down on loading times and lag with games. This also made windows boot in seconds and helped applications load in half the time.

Installed this on my regular ps4 and notice a significant difference. Faster load times and in some old school games a better frame rate it seems. Everything is smoother. Very satisfied and definitely recommend

So far, this has been a good purchase to replace the hard drive on my PS4. It runs faster and it seems to be more energy efficient. No issues.

Very fast ssd for the price! My old HDD broke and this one was on sale so I decided to give it a go. Very pleased so far, load games quickly and have not experience any problems. Highly recommend.

I swapped the old hard drive in my HP Laptop with this drive. Using free software from the internet, the mirroring process and installation took just over a hour. Highly recommend to breath some life into an older laptop.

I was using this SSD for OS boot-ups and compact SSD is doing its job excellently with out any issues

Needed to increase my daughter's laptop SSD storage so I upgraded with the WD 1tb SSD... Very fast and quiet SSD.I had the Geek squad to install it and it came at a very reasonable price

Haven't had any issues. Economical and performs well enough for my day to day use. Not used for gaming/video editing, so performance wasn't a big concern
