Upgraded from standard hard drive on older laptop. Made old laptop more usable with speed increase. Also like the software monitoring you can download from manufacturer to keep track of life expectancy.

Needed to increase my daughter's laptop SSD storage so I upgraded with the WD 1tb SSD... Very fast and quiet SSD.I had the Geek squad to install it and it came at a very reasonable price

1 month in and it's fast and running well. The EVO seems a bit faster, but this is definitely in the same ball park. Doesn't come with transfer software as good as the EVO, but otherwise it's great.

Installed on an 3.2GHz i5, 16mb ram, Win 10. Fully voted and operational in under 20 seconds. Installed easy and runs well.

An excellent SSD for added storage. I am using it as an external desktop storage but it can also be used in certain older laptops and Mac Pro Towers with an adapter as one of the four internal drives.

I purchased it because it was available in store and on sale. I cloned the existing hard drive that was failing. Put it in and fired it up. Much faster than the old mechanical hard drive! So far so good!

Cost effective and reliable and fast. Have owned many different brand of SSDs. The four I found to trust is Sand disk(Western digital), Western digital, Samsung and Seagate.

To anyone that knows SSDs already, this is a pretty standard but very well made storage device. To anyone that doesn't know a thing about SSDs: this device is awesomely fast! Fits inside a 2.5" bay, so it will work in both desktops and laptops. You can buy a housing unit and turn it into an external storage. Your games load way better on this than on a HDD, and is virtually quiet for betting sound management. Western Digital is almost always my go to brand for internal storage. Much respect for their products.

So far, this has been a good purchase to replace the hard drive on my PS4. It runs faster and it seems to be more energy efficient. No issues.

Installing this required more knowledge than most folks will have. At the same time, it is fast and has given my old computer new life. Acronis downloaded and worked flawlessly.

Haven't had any issues. Economical and performs well enough for my day to day use. Not used for gaming/video editing, so performance wasn't a big concern

My laptop and desktop were both reaching 3 or 4 years old and my desktop had recently required replacing the power supply. So I decided to replace both with SSD drives, Best Buy made ordering and pickup so easy!

This was a very good prices for a 1TB SSD. The recommendation should have included what else I need to buy to install this drive. I had to do research to find out what else I need to install in inside my PC

Bought this and installed it in my laptop and WOW the laptop is better than it was when it was new so fast it loads Windows 10 in seconds and everything is very quick and responsive, I am so glad I tried this product. Great Price Too!!

Used to replace failing HDD.... Used my cloning dock to clone old drive before it totally failed....took about 4 hours in total to clone the old 1TB HDD to this new 1TB SSD. Hope it lasts as long as I need.

Good quality SSD. Average priced. Worked really well. I was able to ghost image old hard drive in less than an hour and worked flawless during boot. I would highly recommend this.

bought this drive awhile ago in order to replace my dying HD. so far so good. didnt get a defective one and speed is not top of line but more than enough for my needs.

This is my first SSD, WOW what a difference it makes. Windows loads faster, applications run smoother, I don't hear the drives spin up when transferring files. Definitely going to add another on to my rig.

Got this 1TB SSD and connected it to a Startech usb to SATA external cable. I was getting 300-400MBps copying files from the drive. Very happy with it. It was on sale which made it an even better bargain!
